Robin Assistant
Fictional project
Introduction
For this project, I worked on Robin Assistant, an assistive software designed to support people with cognitive disabilities in their daily lives. The goal was to design a user-friendly interface and create a matching video concept that clearly shows how the app works. I focused on creating the video, while a classmate designed the app itself. In my concept, I show how the assistant guides users throughout the day and helps them become more independent.
For this project, I developed two video concepts for Robin Assistant, focused on showing how the app supports users in their daily lives. One concept highlights different users and situations, while the other follows a single person throughout the day. Both concepts are built around the idea that the assistant helps users become more independent over time. The goal was to clearly communicate the value of the app in a simple and relatable way.
I selected one of the video concepts to develop further. I chose the concept that follows a single user throughout the day, as it creates a more personal and clear story. This approach makes it easier to show how the assistant supports the user step by step. The concept focuses on simplicity, structure, and showing the value of the app in a realistic daily situation.
I created a short video concept for Robin Assistant to show how the app supports users in their daily routine.
The video follows one person throughout the day, from morning to evening, while being guided by the assistant through simple tasks.
